AboutTR-0002

An independent laboratory.

TESROL Lab is an independent experimental science and AI research laboratory. It works by experimenting, writing down what it tried, and building small experimental AI systems to see how they behave.

The work centres on four things: experimentation, documentation, computational research, and the development of experimental AI systems.

TESROL is not affiliated with any institution, and this site makes no claims beyond what the laboratory has actually recorded.

Everything on this site is a record of work in progress. Where something has not happened yet, the site says so.

What the lab studies.

  • Experimental language modellingBuilding and testing small language models.
  • Neural network architecturesTrying different ways of structuring networks.
  • Memory and retrieval systemsHow a model can store and recall information.
  • Literature-based language modellingLanguage models shaped by written literature.
  • Computational experimentsSmall, documented tests of how systems work.
